If you are touring the Schilcherland with a car, bike or on foot, this is a wonderful place to take a rest and enjoy some local wine and food. A Buschenschank is a winery which also serves some simple meals along with it's own wine. Food choices are usually salads, soups, plates of cold cuts of meat and cheese together with fresh bread. All of these foods are well paired with the wines produced. If you do not know what to order look around and see what looks good on other visitor's plates and order accordingly.
