we were repeatedly too hospitable in the winzerhaus, but now is at least a pause for a long time. as noted by other guests, the servier staff is not very professional. the feminine servierkraft was repeatedly characterized by a group that almost already bordered on cheekiness, but the address madame for female guests by male servier forces is also inappropriate in a stylish restaurant. the foods can be of good craftsmanship, but not of peak gastronomy. flow cancers with cocktail sauce on green salad with pumpkin kernel marinade is not a culinary experience, especially since it is more adorned with the cocktail sauce. gänseleberterrine, which is cut up more than finger thick, is likewise no more highly enjoyable. during our last visit, however, this was clearly no longer fresh, as the color and the already slightly acidic taste proved. overall, the price-performance ratio does not fit here.
a house, as you imagine in Austria with rustic pubs in the middle of the wine mountains. we had a foggy weather, but that gave the place something mystical. eating a dream. delicious bratl. roast. also sensationally the stone mushrooms once panned and baked and then still poked in butter with petersilie. here we also tried the famous backhendl. very nice people. all wonderful.
the winzerhaus koglberg has a fantastic location and is perfect to escape on hot summer days of the city. eating was excellent, especially the kalbsvogerl. also the service was very friendly and accommodating. on the way up at the weinbauschule Silberberg you should not trust 100% of the navi.
had a separate room which was decorated with table decoration. eating was a good bourgeois kitchen. operation very attentive. due to the weather we have eaten in the house but changed for coffee to the beautiful terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding wine mountains.
