Based on the tripadvisor reviews, we chose to have dinner at this place.It was packed! So we had to sit outside despite the cold weather, but it's ok, only the lady of the service made it clear she was so busy and tired we had to feel almost guilty... :)I had the zanderfilet which was dry and tasteless and thus way overpriced. The schwein was good (and half the price of the fish).They serve their own Riesling which is superb.On a good day, when you sit outside, it should be a treat to sit here, with the marvelous view of the Moselle.

Sitting on the terrace with an outstanding view over the river towards the village of Zell with boats going by and with a glass of wine in your hand is unadulterated pleasure. Our favourite meals are the great German standby of Schnitzel in its various...forms. Our last discovery was with the Creamy Pepper sauce and I for one have it on every visit! Salads are excellent and if the service is a bit slow it is because it is a popular restaurant and the food is being freshly prepared.

We got the recommendation from the apartment owner were we stayed. The restaurant is in a lovely location on the river with a very nice terras. The service was great and the food was very good. We had a great time.

Delicious traditional German cuisine in a cozy atmosphere describes this place. We tried both the "Rusticales" dishes on the menu, one of which was venison, the other pork in brown sauce. Fabulous.
