Wirtschaft zur Schifflande

Beautiful spot and slightly overpriced food, We had eaten and had a pleasant afternoon until we went to pay in order to catch the next ferry. Then they told us it is cash only and the nearest cash machine is on the other side of...the lake..... this caused us to miss the ferry.... not impressed. Waitress then escorted us to the cash point on the next ferry, would you believe... and told us tomorrow they will be able to take cards!!!! All for 38 Swiss francs

We arrived there late on a Sunday evening, around 20:00 (the restaurant closes at 21:00 . While the kitchen was closed, they still were kind enough to not let us starve : We got a beer, a decent schnitzel and a nice talk with the very...friendly people that run the place. Also, the view is truly amazing.

After a walk from Weesen, this restaurant was more than perfect. Although almost full, they quickly found as a big table to sit our party of 8 and were very helpful to serve us quickly to take the boat in 40 minutes! Very happy with this restaurant.

Die Mahlzeiten sind mengenmässig gewaltig, dies bei durchaus moderten Portionen und Preisen. Die Frage nach einer kleineren Portion wird nur milde belächelt.

We visit the restaurant on our summerholiday in juli, and the food was delicius. The service was very nice and the area was beautyful.
