Wirtshaus Am Dom

Location Those who come to Erfurt do not pass the Cathedral. The tram lines 3,4 and 6 keep right in front. If you get out of line 4, it's not far to the host house at the Dom. Ambience In the small inn with the Domblick it is very cozy. You sit very cramped, but this makes the charm of the inn. You'll be right in front of the bar area. We had reserved and got a small table with corner bench and Domblick assigned. The small windows are framed with red over-gardens and on the tables are red-white carded placemats. You feel a bit like in a small cozy cottage. All the tables are occupied by the cottage is full. Service The young staff is trained, routined and fixed. Eating There is mainly the traditional Thuringian cuisine here everything else would not be right here (before the Dome. So we also chose pork bags with red cabbage and Thuringian clubs (13.90€ and sausage meat with cheese baked and toast bread (7.90€). Amazingly fast at full occupation, our dishes came. The juicy, diced chicken meat came in hot in a pie. It was wonderfully baked with cheese and with the roasted toast bread everything tasted excellent. The salad set would not have been necessary. The two pork bags were tender, but the sauce was unhurried and very thin. The red herb still had nice bites and the two Thuringian clubs were fine, but even made it even better. Conclusion: Amazingly good food, centrally located with Domblick, what you want more
