Wirtshaus am Schloss

The Schloss has been a favorite restaurant to visit over the last many years. A few years ago, they adopted a different serving style, combination of buffet and ordered main course. This is OK except that the portions are rediculously small. Now, they've raised the price to 25.50 Euros per person. (that's $32+ per person, without drinks)

Went there for a business lunch and found the experience very disappointing. The service was listless and more interested in talking to each other and the food nothing special at all. Some of the dishes weren't too clean either. Very poor value for money. Never again!

Great atmosphere, very nice interior, great food, skilled staf who seem to know a lot about the dishes on the menu. The restaurant is on a great location from where you can overlook almost all of the city of Siegen. During good wheather you can sit outside.

It's a nice Biergarten, beside castle in the old city in Siegen, we enjoy a beautiful and sunny day, the plates are just toooo biiiggg with one easily can eat 2 persons. The service very average.

Very cozy little restaurant located by the Oberes castle . The food is delicious but slightly over prized but I guess you pay for the location which is perfect!
