Finding the Hocheck was a little bit of an exercise, since it sits somewhat above the entry road, accessed by a steep driveway. Once we'd found it, we realized that the name, which means high corner was quite appropriate. We found a parking place with...no problem in front. It was early in the evening, so the restaurant wasn't crowded. The decor was very traditional and cozy, and more rustic than most we'd been in. It had by the entry door what seemed to be one of those old large German household ceramic heating stoves. The waiter was helpful and friendly, and he spoke English well enough. The menus were bound, interestingly, in wooden boards, and there were English-language menus available...
