Always looking for a casual, cheap and cheerful vegan friendly place for beer/wine and outdoor food. Surprisingly, hostage of the German pub has marked several delicious vegan options clearly on the menu, including a fantastic impossible burger, a vegan Bratwurst dish and vegan side options from Fritten, Arugula Salat, green beans and fried potatoes. It is located next to vegan Burger Joint Honeybee Burger and on the street of Mister Charlie’s, so it would be a great place for a vegan pub crawl followed by a sampling of some of the best vegan burgers / vegan chicken sandos and chicken nuggets in LA.

They made good on their promise of a two liter boot of beer for my birthday with 10 friends. I got the Kölsch. The Jägerschnitzel was great, as was their newly changed Spätzle. It was just like in Germany and so flavorful. The sauerkraut was not that good, but they have so many great sides that I know for next time. I'm so happy there's a great German place in LA to recommend to people. Vielen Dank!

Thank you Germany for reinheitsgebot! Many German beer options thanks to German purity laws for brewing. Also cheap for the area, but not the cheapest around. We didn't eat here, but the food looked very good when we were in LA for a few more days, we would be back for the sausages that saw and smelled excellent.

German restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. The vegan sausage is brilliant, like the red cabbage and Arugula nut salad. The beer list is extensive and has beers from the oldest brewery in the world. Will definitely be back!
