We stranded at this restaurant after a exhausting hike and found a place on the big terrace, overlooking Starnberg and the lake. The service was friendly and fast. The menu had not too many items, but everything sounded delicious and was priced reasonable. After we...ordered, the waitress came back to inform us, that we have to wait a little, because the kitchen has to make fresh dumplings. It was worth the wait, because the dumpling are delicious and maybe the best I ever had! No joke! But the food in general was really good and the plates full. Just what you need after hiking. We will definitely come back, when we are in the area again.

We went here to a recommendation and boy were right. We were here on a Sunday night that I believe, and there were only 2 other tables with people, so I was a little worried, but it was late. We ordered a variety of dishes... and we're all excellent! Also the dessert of chocolate cake and ice cream was delicious. A lot of history here, too.

Da kann man einfach hoch gehen wann man will, die Chefin hat immer gute Laune. Aus der Karte kann man alles bestellen weil alles gut schmeckt und satt macht und dann hast Du noch die Aussicht auf den See - was will man mehr? Ich bin sonst ´rechtkritisch aber hier passt wirklich alles.

We had a very nice meal here in the mountain. Although they were fully booked, they accommodated us nicely. Very nice staff and very helpful. The view was exceptional and the food was nice.

We have a nice dinner. Effie is so friendly and the food is good. The chocolate cake is so good with vanilla (made with real vanilla bean) ice cream.
