As you should know, most restaurants in Germany need a reservation and the restaurant is the same, but it was our last night in Germany and we found this place near our hotel. Your shield is on the main road, but getting to the door is in a alley. We asked if we needed reservations, the lady said yes, but she would still get us a table. It was classically very relaxing and everyone we met was so beautiful. Our waitress was as friendly and helpful as we fought with our Germans. The hostess was wonderful that she spoke something English, was so sweet. The food was excellent, we always get different meals, so we can share the taste. If I ever have a long transfer to Frankfurt, I'll call to see...
While looking for a place to eat close to 20:00, I found this small and cozy place, really close to the Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt Airport Staff was really friendly, seems like one of them is from Croatia. Nice and tasty options to try, I recommend the carpaccio, the salads and the pork loin with mushrooms, really nice flavors! Plenty of options on the menu and desserts aswell Try their croatian schnapps, it's served warm, really nice stuff
Have visited this place 3 times in the last weeks, how had family visits. Everyone really enjoyed it. The plate for 2 is absolutely delicious. If you're a big carnivore, that's for you. The lamb dogs should die. The side salad served with the main has the most beautiful dressing. Espresso excellent. The restaurant itself is full of wood trim, which ensures a very relaxing ambience. Would recommend this restaurant and I will continue to visit.
For years, one has been eating here because one of their dishes, Odenwälder Kockkäseschnitzel cheese-covered carving with fried potatoes) is incredible. It's the only dish I've ever eaten here. I also recommend her house beer. Very smooth and cold, served in traditional beer cups. Service is always friendly and competent. The salad bar could be better.
