I have been here a few times over the last few years and each time I have come away thinking it could be so much better than it is. It is in a great spot in Woburn but the ambience inside is poor and the food is not great value for money I had a Full English for £11.50 which was basically beans on toast with one sausage, one piece of bacon and some scrambled egg scrapings. On the plus side, the service is good and the staff there are friendly.
I understand energy bills are a concern for businesses at the moment, but this restaurant didn't have the heating on and had a door open. It was freezing in there. leave it until the summer before going here, unless you like having to wear a coat to eat. The staff were lovely, food was tasty. Toilets were very clean. Hope the business can survive, but the cold will put people off. Guess it's a hard balancing act for the owners.
IT'S PERMANENTLY CLISED! Do not book The Woburn Brasserie because when we got there last Saturday, apparently it had been closed for a month! Had breakfast outside. Lovely area although seats are very hard. I had eggs Mediterranean but didn’t want the eggs. I asked for bacon instead and got charged for the bacon as an extra !!! I visited on the bank holiday weekend , I had a Lagrande breakfast and as usual it was spectacular my kids had there pancakes which came with a variety of options for toppings . The staff were all very friendly and helpful , overall very good visit and day out in Woburn
Food wasn’t very nice dry, inedible, tasteless. Music far too loud and inappropriate for setting. Staff came across rude. Wouldn’t return unfortunately.
What a lovely little gem! Great service, yummy food and delicious cocktails. I wish the weather was better to sit outside, may be another time.
