if I could give them 0 stars, I would have. on the way up, the place is ashamed, the host had the personality of a wet mop, the chef has no teeth. we ordered two plates and two children's dishes. the children's dishes had more food than the plates. the smoked chicken was over cooked and not smoked at all. the pulled black tasted like something in the refridgerated meat section. the thimble-sized side of mac and cheese was ice-cold noodles with comminuted cheese that were thrown in. collard greens tasted as if they were shimmered in dish water. and the hush puppies were like fried tennis balls. overall terrible experience and will never return. I would stay away from this place.

we have hush puppies, brisket cheese steak and fried ribs. hush puppies are melted in their mouth and come with a sauce, although they are big all on their own faust. brisket käsesteak was an ugly sandwich and not disappointed. baked ribs were good and even better with some hush puppy sauce. the young at the theke were willing to help and suggest some things for us. super nice, very knowledgeable. we will be back

THE REAL DEAL. Had ribs, brisket, beer bottle chicken. There is not a vegetable in sight, but who cares. Whoops, I forgot about the deep fried niblits and pickles- they are vegetables after all. Save room for the deep fried twinkie dessert. This is a little shack like spot tucked off a main thoroughfare surrounded by huge chunks of firewood. Plan to do takeout, not eat there. Extra napkins , please.

the bark burns the leaf. Burnt ends were a bit dry. the tickets were good. the interior of the building was disgusting. felt everywhere, the floor was flattened with grim, fly swinging around, eating sitting in the back room. the cook answered the phone during cooking with plastic gloves. not back.
