I had a fabulous experience at Wood Ash. The food is excellent. It is a family share type format, so your group can order several different dishes and then everyone shares. My only problem with it, is the portion size for that format was way too small for the price that was charged. For example, the pork belly watermelon dish was $20 and came with 4 small squares of pork belly and about 8 mouth size cubes of watermelon. There were only 3 people in our group, but that portion only aloud about 1 bite per person. It was excellent tasting food, but for $20, I would expect more food in the dish for sharing. Valet service recommended top notch. Our waitress sat us quickly and took our order. She sat us near the window overlooking the boulevard that was nice. The feel inside the restaurant is one of kind nothing like it in St. George. I ordered the Korean bbq beef it was ok I wish it had more of the Kim chee aioli and bulgogi sauce, half of the sandwich was bland. Me and my wife enjoyed everything else. Highly recommend for brunch it was easily accessible and comfortable.
A few adjustments would go a long way at this place.... Take the lighting down about 50%, way too bright for the concept. Kitchen staff should be upgraded in appearance for an extremely open kitchen concept. Wine glasses were small and mismatched. Overall most dishes were good a couple misses on pappardelle pasta which was bland.

The food at this restaurant was both inventive and tasty, with generous portion sizes. The service was excellent and we highly recommend this place. We are already planning to return for another visit. Oh, and everyone absolutely loved the biscuits!
We ordered the NY Strip steak and it was not good. The meat was tough and there was a tendon running through it. For nearly $50, we expected better quality. I do not recommend this dish or this restaurant, and I will not be coming back.
I had an enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant. The food was unique, delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. The service was exceptional, with servers being very prompt and polite. Thank you!
They need better service. They ignored us for a solid 10 minutes and friends have frequented before with same bad service they ignore you until you get their attention
