These are some of the best pastries I've ever had in my LIFE. Do not sleep on this small shop!!! If you're in the area, you have to go. Each individual pastry was soft, light, perfect flavor profile, not too sweet, not with all artificial tasting. I never had soft tea cookies before I came here. They had a nutty but simplified taste profile that felt nostalgic! The original glazed donuts were amazing, I could eat them every day and not get tired of them. The long johns were great, I regretted not to buy more than me! I also have a piece of delicious and remarkable cheesecake and a beautiful strawberry Danish that was both beautiful and delicious. I really really enjoyed every single article and will definitely be back!! But next time, I'll buy WAY more stuff.

I hate giving them no five stars. Wood's bakery is a cornerstone in this town and I've been here since I live. It is an amazing old school bakery loaded with delicious classics. We just ordered a cheesecake. It has no Graham cracker crust. That was crazy I came from a classic bakery. At first glance, I thought it was yellow cake, but it wasn't sweet. It tastes literally like bread?? The actual filling was very dense and when it was cut into it, it was not smooth. I really hope they consider changing the recipe for this article because it does not reflect everything else in their business.

I finally came back to the STL Donut Tour this weekend and stayed at Wood Bakery. What a great place! You have so amazing looking cakes and cookies and desserts with a huge wall filled with so many styles of donuts to try! You have different special styles, depending on which day you come and I have the last salted Caramel Long John so good today! This place has some of the best cakes donuts I had on the tour this season! Definitely stop here if you like cakes donuts and custard filled donuts!

Get up early. The baklava is the best in the area! They have like 4 or 5 different types. I love it! This place is always busy early in the morning because the food is so good. Oh, and if you need a birthday cake, that's the place to go! They took care of me so well and it was such a good cake.

Super friendly staff. Donuts are awesome! The cookie sandwich was delicious. Stop in to get something yummy and ask about locations in your area. I learned they partner with various businesses and deliver donuts to places like MotoMart etc if that is more convenient.
