The staff are very welcoming, we stopped the night it was clean the shower was good aswell but could of done with a bath mat, and had a kettle tea, coffee, milk and sugar for you to have a drink. This is not a criticism but it would of been nice to have a little information in the room such as time you need to check out in the morning and a little about the area. We booked a meal for the evening that was excellent and once again the staff were very professional. Will definitely go there again

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially considering that I am hard of hearing. The prices were reasonable, and the food was of excellent quality. The meals were absolutely fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy pub food. There's plenty of parking available, and while I'm not sure about the availability of free WiFi, it doesn’t hurt to ask. There’s also a garden outside for outdoor seating, although it was pouring rain during my visit.

First time in the Woodend (Woodhouse Inn) for a really long time due to previous management so that's how long. So a walk from Shireoaks with the dogs that were made extremely welcome and looked after with water bowl on arrival. We had really good beer and wine and the food was very good. A Mediterranean pasta dish and the fish pie. Both meals were delicious and HOMEMADE. Fantastic staff, lovely locals and great food, couldn't wish for more. Will definitely be back soon.

Food was ok, waited about 45 mins and only a couple of other customers in. Wouldn 't want to go when it 's busy. Pub could do with a tidy up, looks quite run down and dated. Only 1 person behind the bar and serving food so we ordered from the bar and got our own drinks. Felt quite grubby . Menus were covered in beer and sticky. Wouldn 't have hurt to wipe them down instead of apologising for them being thrown on the bar getting covered in beer! Reserva una mesa ahora

I didn't eat at the restaurant, just stayed overnight. The accommodations took care of all my needs. The power shower was great. There was an issue with the plug, but it's summer, so it wasn't a big deal. The room had a large TV, complimentary tea, and coffee, although there was no coffee available. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious, and there were USB charging points. Overall, it was quite decent.

Decided to call in for something to eat. Well set out. Plenty of choice on the menu, decided to have a starter as well as main course. Bit of a shock when starter came, really generous goats cheese puff. Looked lovely and tasted even better. Had the Hunters Twist as a main, again generous serving well presented and tasty. Staff are really helpful, pleasant and friendly.

We had a wonderful Sunday dinner. The food was excellent, and the staff were very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place, and we will definitely return. We've been back several times, and as always, the food was beautiful. Thanks to all the lovely staff!

arrived 2:15pm on thursday, only had a few customers. they are doing special offer 2 meals for £15 lunch during the week. we ordered fish and chips, and steak pie. borh meals were tasty. no complaint. we also ordered a mixed grill. it was a large meaty dish. Reserva una mesa ahora

Sadly the beer seemed to be off. The four of us left half drunk pints, which is unheard of. Although the staff were pleasant, our complaints did not result in replacements. We did not stay for lunch.
