I would like to praise the charming ambiance of this cozy neighborhood bar in Commack. However, apart from the atmosphere and friendly staff, there were some issues. The prices are quite high, with tap beers costing $8 a pint. The happy hour specials, such as $3 PBR cans or Miller Lite bottles, were disappointing. The food menu had a good variety of options, and I enjoyed my tasty wrap, although the reheated fries were unpleasant. It's understandable that small businesses are struggling, but it's also tough for customers. It's hard to enjoy a neighborhood bar experience with high NYC prices and lackluster happy hour deals. The restaurant was smaller than I expected based on the pictures, but still nice. My group had a great time chatting and laughing. For appetizers, we ordered cheese quesadilla, Mozzarella fries with gravy, and BBQ wings. The wings were small and saucy but tasty, the cheese quesadilla was a bit flat but had delicious cheese. We should have ordered more. The service was excellent, even the fries that came with my Jack Daniels Burger were good. The burger seemed small compared to the large bun, and most of us left a lot of bread. The server was friendly but seemed new to the restaurant. The fish and chips were excellent! The Heinekens were perfectly chilled, just the way I like them. This neighborhood bar/pub is stress-free and perfect for a girls' night out. I'm looking forward to catching some live music next time. I will definitely be back for a follow-up visit. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5 rating. The hot wings, chicken slaw, loaded nachos, and blue cheeseburger at this restaurant are all delicious. They also offer happy hour drinks, beer, and specialty cocktails. Special thanks to Jailene and Frank, who always provide excellent service. Be sure to tip your bartender!
