I went to a pub in downtown that had a similar style to others in its age group. We visited on a Saturday evening and there were only about a dozen customers at most. We spoke with a couple of regulars who were welcoming and engaging, although that can vary from person to person. The bartender was friendly and hospitable.

I happened to come across this restaurant by chance and I'm so glad I did. It's a classic traditional pub mixed in with some trendy elements. The beer options are straightforward and the atmosphere is inviting. Make sure to greet Frank when you visit!

This is such a wonderful, nice pub in the heart of Union Centre, Aberdeen. Good ales, simple beer options, lovely staff (Frank) and a nice, warm environment. Good place to drop in for a pint and some patter.

Wordies has been around for years and only some of the staff has changed, the building and decor have not. Good place in town centre to pop in for a pint and natter withe the locals.

Small, cozy, and delightful bartenders that you can have an actual genuine chat with. A place to stop by for 2-4 pints and a chat, before heading onwards I'd say. Enjoy!

very authentic and decent Scottish pub. mcewan’s export, tennant’s, etc. on tap; indifferent lunchtime for a five, brightly lit; terrible industry.

Freindly staff in a surprisingly quiet and cozy , city centre bar. Good pint of Guinness and clean toilets.
