I came here on a Friday night with my husband, mum, and baby, it wasn't super busy, but there was a small crowd on the first floor. First thing I noticed is that this place is NOT stroller/wheelchair friendly to get into the restaurant there are steps, to get to the bathroom, there are steps, and the tables are quite close together so any strollers or wheelchairs would be in the way. The food, however, was just delish! We ordered the hot and sour soup (I don't recommend this) to start, along with the spicy Naruto cucumber roll, which was absolutely fantastic! So I very frequently order my sushi to go from this location. I live close in the area and sometimes I just want to take it to go. You cannot go wrong with the sushi here I am not a true lover of some of the other meals that they offer however, if your goal is to get some nice fresh raw sushi, this is definitely the place to go. My favorite are the spicy yellowtail sushi roll and I just add some scallions and poof, perfection! Service is always good, friendly, and timely. Since I never dine in I'm not sure what the ambiance is like but from the quick glances I've stolen it seems pretty nice.
I've heard great things about this place however my experience wasn't great. As soon as we walked in we were given a attitude. The waitress barely talk to us and gave us an attitude. The place looked as if I needed to be cleaned or updated or both. Food seem promising but it was subpar. Maybe it's different on different days . I remember me and my friend saying to ourselves we hope we don't get sick that's not a great sign.

I am absolutely appalled by this restaurant. On two or three occasions, I found hair in my sushi! The spicy tuna tasted far from fresh. When I called to report this, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, the food and service were completely off-putting.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends last night. Food was very good as was the service. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. My friend also had the shrimp dumpling soup which she said was delicious. Parking is ample.
Got sick twice from this place and my boyfriend got sick from it this past weekend. If you want food poisoning, parasites or worse eat sushi at this place.
Yes! The best sushi in LI I love this place... I always eat Weel... soooo good!! Go to Xaga Suchi I am sure you like!!

The food and the staff are great. I highly recommend Xaga. I absolutely love the chicken lettuce wraps.
