First time eating here with an early dinner, we only booked the day before, but it was the only booking we could get I think. Must be a popular place. The food service was fast. We particularly enjoyed the Karage chicken and cold waggu beef entrees they were really delicious. The rest of the food was a little on the average side, though it was nice enough. The spicy chicken ramen was eaten by one of the others in our group they felt the broth was a little flavourless with the punch of chilli flakes on top which got caught in the back of the throat. What a lovely local spot! Food arrived quickly and everything was delicious! We ordered an array of skewers, noodles and sushi. All of which were of high standard! The price was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. The skewers had a good amount of meat and doesn't leave you feeling dissatisfied. Some dishes are definitely saltier and stronger in flavour than others but they go down so well with a cold glass of beer! The atmosphere is also great with low yellow lights and wooden dark furniture. It's a great place to eat some good food and have a couple of drinks with friends. But I almost don't want to tell too many people and keep it my secret local favourite! Top recomme...
The three of us ate on a Tuesday night and I was quite surprised that it was almost full. We sat at the bar (which was comfortable) which I quite liked as you could watch the food be cooked. The service is great, the interior has a traditional theme but there's a good vibe going from the mix of locals. But be aware that besides the yakatori sticks, some of the other food are variations or infusion, e.g. five spice calamari. I personally don't mind, but my wife just wants her food plain, and the chicken karage had some spice mixed in the coating that is not there for any other chicken karage I've tried. This is just a last minute reservation and they squeeze squeeze us in wow what service little bit quick but wow what an amazing food if they only slow down between the courses in would have been a more amazing but if you're ever in the area and in the mood for sushi you've got a recommend this place check out the photos waiters was so understanding and recommended amazing dishes you need to try the Ouzo and wine list goes on if you end a group highly recommend to try the banquet Reserva una mesa ahora
My favourite local suburb Japanese restaurant. Some interesting authentic Japanese choices on the menu such as raw cabbage, vast choices of yakitori grilled on charcoal, mochi with cod roe and many more. I find this to be more appealing than just your usual stereotype Japanese food such as sushi, sashimi, chicken karaage etc. Prices are reasonable and they allow wine BYO. Service is good.
Yakitori Jin is a lovely restaurant. The atmosphere reminds me of my trip to Osaka in 2018. The food is great. We have ordered the smoked bonito tataki, a few yakitori, assorted sashimi, flamed grilled scallops, the charcoal grilled calamari. Every dish comes with complimentment and the taste of Japan.
