A solid 4.5! We came as a party of 10. Loved that they have a nice patio, ambiance was great! Speaking of the food, I really enjoyed the first 3 cold dishes, especially the beef tartare, it was to die for. Beef tongue and beef cheek ox tail soup were also on point. However, most of us didn't really enjoy the veggies both veggie dip and marinated tomato) I know those were for cleansing our palate, but flavor wise, they were pretty plain. My biggest complaint would be their prime rib eye selection, they were too heavy with the seasoning. It didn't really compliment the meat. I took my husband to this restaurant for my birthday, and I was truly impressed. The meal features a preset menu priced at around $100 per person, which might seem a bit high, but it is absolutely worth it. I've dined at many fine restaurants where I paid much more and received less in terms of both quantity and quality. This experience was outstanding! I literally left the restaurant absolutely speechless. Every single thing about our dinner it was perfect. I love that they pay attention to every single detail and do a great job celebrating the special occasion. I really loved that they ask upfront about your names and any dietary restrictions or things you just don't want to eat and in my case raw meat, they asked upfront if we want to skip the raw dishes which we did and I really appreciated that. The drinks were as exceptional as the food. It's been a long time since I've been this impressed. I'm excited to hear they're opening soon closer to our home. Pasadena is opening soon. Can't wait to have another mind blowing dinner soon.

My girlfriend surprised me with a birthday dinner at this restaurant, and I had no idea what to expect since I hadn't even looked at the menu! Overall, the atmosphere was charming, the service was excellent with a very friendly waiter, and the food was simply incredible. The rice with bone marrow and the A5 Miyazaki wagyu were two of the standout dishes of the evening. The most unforgettable moment was taking a birthday shot of vodka poured through the bone marrow. I can't wait to return!
I've come a couple times now to celebrate birthdays/events and the price is not too bad. First time I came was when their price was still at $99/pp, but it is at $128/pp now which still isn't too bad. The quality of the food and presentation is good and their service is also great. The ambience has always been very clean and it is a pretty dark restaurant indoors. I would recommend sitting indoors and not outdoors, as it is a completely different dining experience.
I had no idea what to expect here. The staff was very friendly, attentive and friendly. I didn't even see the menu before the first dish was served. Then I realized it was a Prix Fixe menu. And I just went with you. Everything was amazing! The flavors were incredible and the presentations were simple, but beautiful. Maybe I'm not usually one for a chic/fine meal, but this place broke my head. I would like to come back here
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The meal was fantastic, as each course of the Prix Fixe menu offered both flavor and an opportunity to learn. I believe it's a must-try experience at least once, but I'll definitely be returning for more. Reservations typically need to be made a week or two in advance, so plan ahead!

Additionally, it was approximately 48 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and when they opened a door leading to the terrace seating area, the cold air made the dining room uncomfortably chilly for my friends and me. When I brought this to the manager's attention, she didn't seem to take my concerns seriously.
