Yalla Yalla Lebanese Grill

I've delayed commenting on this place because I've wanted to selfishly keep it to myself. It is not often that you come across places where you find owners and staff care more about the quality of the food and atmosphere than making money. The irony is that when they do, people flock to them. As people are doing here. It is not just the best restaurant in the area, but also far beyond any Lebanese restaurant in London. I should know as I've eaten in one in nearly every Borough. They do not compare. The service, quality and cleanliness are what I would expect in Japan, where I travel to every year. Google review 4.9?! Are u kidding?! We ordered a mezze and fattoush salad, only to find that the food fell short of my expectations. The aging frying oil was evident in the taste, especially noticeable in the potato cubes. The halloumi, unfortunately, seemed to be of the cheapest quality, disappointingly chewy. The falafels took the disappointment to another level – excessively salty and dried. It’s safe to say that the freshness of their ingredients left much to be desired.

During our recent visit we had the pleasure of being served by Mohammed, an exceptional waiter who significantly enhanced our dining experience. Mohammed's attentive service made us feel truly special. He was always there when we needed him, yet he never intruded on our conversations.
