Yang's Hot Woks Noodles & Dumplings

After trying the average food here i thought i would give them a second chance because i live so close but after walking in on a satuarday night the lady wanted to seat me at the window next to some local bayswater drunks so i politly asked if i could sit elsewhere in the almost empty restaurant. They just gave me daggers and looked at her watch then slammed the menus down on a different table. I sat down shocked. Me and my partner just starred at each other in disbeleif of her rudeness. She then came to take our order and once again didnt say a word and just starred straight through me. My partner was so amazed she signaled me to just leave so we did. SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND AWKWARD!!! I think a lot of restaurants start out really good and then when they get a customer base, drop the ball. Been here heaps and really liked it and then a few times the takeaway food was rubbish and the prices seemed to creep up. Went there this week and was shocked to be charged 3% extra to use my debit card, that's rights debit not credit card. Apparently a lot of people are not happy with this but the boss doesn't care so I have been told- bit rich I think. Tonight's takeaway was fantastic so I will call a spade a spade when it is deserved. Make up you own mind

Loved the choice of food ! Chicken & corn soup was great ! Dumplings were hot & delicous ! Lemon chicken was great ! Rice & noodles were delicious ! Chicken spicy wings are to die for ! Get there early , we got there at 6.30 to get a round table ! It gets busy ! Staff are helpful & we really enjoyed the food ! Feed 9 people for $20 ahead ! We are regulars & enjoy the food ! Sharing is the way to go ! Try streamed & fried dumplings , it's a must !

Have been to this place on numerous occasions over the years with friends and family. restaurant is small and dated, service is quick and menu has huge variety. most importantly the food is consistently delicious and great value for money as the servings are big and filling. dumplings are amazing too, by far the best Chinese restaurant in the area. the waitress working there was cute too. This restaurant is very small and very busy. Ordering take away in prime time will take a while to come out so order early. The food was good and worth the wait. The portions are a decent size. I think bigger when you eat in. Doesnt look very clean but that makes it feel more authentic. I didnt mind

Forget the decor, we go to this place regularly for the food; great dumplings, wonderful spring rolls, spicy chicken ribs are simply the best. The staff do have a little difficulty with the English language but that is easily over come. Simply Go for the Food.

The restaurant is not much to look at décor wise, but it makes up for it by it's well priced dumplings and meat dishes with rice. The food is good, and the serving sizes generous. Soups are extremely good value. Good for large groups.

Normaly go out and spend and eat way to much, got two sets of dumplings and a rice , took a bottle of red and walked out happy in the pocket , full belly, thanks to my son telling me of this place cheers guys Reserva una mesa ahora

We went here as a friend had recommended the dumplings. Service was quick and the food delicious. We shared the peking pork and steamed beef dumplings. The steamed beef were the best beef dumplings I've had.

It doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner, the food is always excellent. Had a bit of a trip getting there due to railworks, but so glad we made the effort. Can't rate this highly enough.
