I've eaten at this restaurant several times over the last 30 years, but hadn't been there for about 5 years since I rarely go to downtown Stockton any more. I decided to stop in since I had some business to address it the County building. I found their food to still be very good as I remembered it. I had the open face steak sandwich on garlic bread, fries, and a Greek salad. It was a definite thumbs up. The only downside to this restaurant is it's in the downtown area that isn't the greatest. It's certainly not like downtown Stockton used to be 50 years ago.
Everything was good we had lunch on Tuesday and dolmathes were so tasty they came with a generous amount of sauce. I had the chicken gyro and bf had lamb and beef gyro all good . Service was excellent. I came here with two other coworkers for lunch time since we were in the county for work. This place had such high ratings that I wanted to try it out for myself! Man, they did NOT disappoint.
Food is great. Best gyros in town by far. Only reason for the 4 star review is the service is not always great. I have been there when it's slow and when it's slammed, gotten great service and bad service in both scenarios. But it isn't enough to stop me from coming and shouldn't stop anyone else either. Yasoo Yani is great.
The young lady was nice and helped me with navigating their menu and finding the vegetarian options and I went with classic falafel in wrap form.

Great tasting gyros, and Tziki sauce. Nice family environment. Good service. I've been going there for decades. I'll be going back of course.
The service is awesome. The food is great. I come all the way downtown just to eat at this small local family owned business.
The Gyro lunch was excellent and I was very satisfied with the speedy service during the lunch rush hour
Loved the salads, my fave is the chicken souvlaki. Lots of variety on the menu and they serve breakfast
