This place was excellent. One of the best meals I have had in Geneva after being here for 8 years. Went with a party of 8 on a thursday night. We all had different items off the menu so I got to try a lot and was extremely impressed. Had the scotch egg to start extremely tasty meat. Then had the venison with a cacao crust meat was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. Ended on the baked cheese cake, one of the best I ever had. Price was very good for Geneva, circa 90chf for 3 courses that were top quality. Lovely husband and wife owners the environment was cozy and welcoming. In addition, just next door to bar du nord so easy to continue the night. The only slight negative was slow service...
Yeast was recommended to us by a friend of a friend, we tried their tasting menu with a bottle of Grüner. We have eaten in many Michelin starred places all over the world and Yeast is definitely up there. The best dishes are the calamares, the mushrooms, the veal and the pork. I really liked the devilled eggs and the tartare with caviar. What an experience and what a find! This place is Geneva's little gem, rising star and best place to visit. Don't forget the sourdough bread the best I've had! Superb service from our tri lingual host and wonderful ambiance. Probably the best way to spend an evening in Geneva. They should be very proud!!!
