My brother recommended this sushi restaurant to me and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is located off of Park Street with a parking lot in the back. It can be challenging to find easy parking in this busy area, but it is manageable. The entrance is in an alleyway, parallel to Park Street, and the decor is a mix of modern and traditional Japanese styles with makeshift curtains towards the restrooms. There may be upstairs seating, but I am not certain. We ordered a few rolls and they were all of fine dining quality. The garlic edamame beans had a flavorful kick, while the crab-stuffed shrimp was a bit underwhelming, tasting like a mush of fish in the shape of a shrimp. I can't recall the...

We came here recently with my MIL. We all love Japanese food and have enjoyed dining at Yellowtail in the past.We have young kiddos, and as we were ordering and waiting, the owner came over to say hi and interact with them. He was so kind, friendly and genuine--he drew in and engaged my kiddos in a very sweet and personable way. They are both on the spectrum but he was so fun, and folded origami for each of them (a fish for one, a bird for the other) and kept them occupied and enthralled. The food was delciious, and throughout the meal he came over to check on us. My kiddos split a bento and ate it all, and when he found out that they loved the tofu in the miso soup, he went off to get more!T...
Omg this is one of the best sushi spots I've ever had in the Bay Area. Everything is super fresh and delicious. I love how the all the rolls are small and bite size they literally melt in your mouth. I've been here a number of times and today I ordered togo. I highly recommend the misty roll the Nathan roll and also the Kaleente roll!! Honestly any common roll like the spider or the lion king roll are also amazing!! And if you are craving a healthy appetizer the seaweed salad and cucumber salad are super tasty! Breana was my server she was super accommodating and my chefs were so nice and friendly!
We were a group of 3 and were seated promptly at a table in the back, which I didn't like because the ceiling was low and made me feel enclosed. We took some time to peruse the menu and our waitress quickly took our order and offered some suggestions. We ended up ordering 5 rolls, but it took about 45 minutes to receive our first roll. We then had to wait another 10 minutes to receive the next 4 rolls. I would have preferred if all the rolls were served together. The rolls were good, but not outstanding. The service was decent, but not exceptional. That's about it. Reserva una mesa ahora
I went to this restaurant for dinner on a Wednesday. We were seated promptly and were able to sit outside near a heating lamp, which was pleasant. We ordered 1 appetizer and 3 rolls, everything was fresh and delicious. The two hosts and a man (whom I believe is the owner) were all very friendly and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
Really top notch freshness and clean sushi bar and room Highly recommend. Shared 26 piece plate with two friends, plus gomaae and other sides. A bit tricky to find the first time, in a safe restaraunt alley off Park Street. Typical Alameda sushi prices. There is parking lot south of the alley, I parked on Central before I knew this.
The service at this restaurant was very quick and attentive. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented. The calamari and edamame were also delicious. I tried the humo and ninja rolls, with the ninja roll being particularly spicy - a warning for those who prefer milder dishes.
One of my favorite restaurants in Alameda. Best place to go with family, friends and kids. They do provide high chairs. Great customer service. Food was served quickly. Amazing customer service. Clean restrooms. They do have a parking lot.Food: 5/5 Reserva una mesa ahora
What a wonderful place! Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff were truly lovely. At the end of our meal the owner came out to see how our food was and say hello. Above and beyond. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of
