This is my favorite chinse restaurant. The food is great, and the servers are very attentive. It seems a bit pricey, but the flavors are worth it. I always have the Seafood Sizzling Bowl. The rice is prepared in toasted, crisp waffer like chunks that compliments the shrimp, pee pods, and slivers of beef. It is in a busy location across from the Galleria Shopping Mall. There is off street parking available just south of the restaurant. If you exit behind the buildings, there is a stoplight for an easy left turn on Brentwood Avenue.
our family has been eating here for more than 30 years, and in all this time I can honestly say we never had a bad experience. when eating the service is always friendly and efficient. we are carried out in the rule, and in any case it is always delicious! the crabs ringoon, spicy braided chicken, yen ching beef and veggie roasted rice are popular. but even if we become brave and order something adventurous, we always love it! They seem to be a bit expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants, but they are definitely worth it.
The food at this restaurant was enjoyable. We ordered Crab Rangoon, Pot Stickers, Sesame Chicken, and Yen Ching Beef and the total came to $69.35. However, we were surprised to find that the prices were 70% higher than what was listed on Yelp. It is recommended to check out their official website for accurate prices to avoid any surprises. Additionally, for the price we paid, we only received 3 packets of soy sauce and 4 of sweet and sour sauce, so make sure to specify how many you want when placing your order.
Best Chinese in STL. Yen Ching is an all-time favorite. Great apps: Pot stickers, crab rangoon and sizzling rice soup. Every entree we've tried, we've liked. Jay, owner, always greets us, staff is courteous, service is quick, quality of food is outstanding (whether eating in or taking out). Best Chinese we've had in St. Louis, bar none, for 15 years!

We had a Yen Ching here in Creve Coeur located in the Dierbergs on Olive Blvd. I was absolutely in LOVE w/ their food; especially the Spicy Crispy Beef. Dierbergs made a horrible decision in replacing them with a disgusting overpriced chain: Big Bowl. I soooo miss the Spicy Crispy Beef and I wish I could find a Yen Ching located nearby. :
The pot stickers, moo shu chicken, and hot and sour soup at this restaurant are excellent. I also highly recommend their vegetable deluxe dish.
I love yen ching. eating is always amazing and the service is fast and efficient. I recommend the hot and acidic suppe!
I had the crooked rangoon, sweet with roasted rice and an egg roll with a tsingtao beer. delicious!

The food was just as amazing as I remembered. I would recommend skipping the hot tea, though.
The chicken or beef at Yen Ching is the best in town.
