My husband and I came here after passing it on the way home and after visiting many years ago decided try again. The service was brilliant, very friendly staff. Food was fresh and tasty, best onion bhajis I've ever tasted!! and the peshwari Naan was particularly yummy. They Don't serve alcohol but we didn't mind at all as you can bring your own if you wish, we ordered a couple of cokes which were a bargain at £1 a can! We ordered from there special offer which was a 3 course for £11.95, what a bargain! Also FREE popadums, so what more can you ask for?? We will definitely be returning and be bringing our friends... :
We have tried many Indian restaurants for takeout, but we finally found one that we thought was fantastic! The delivery was quick and the chicken curry pathia was amazing! The naans were also delicious, and the peshwaari was the best we've had in a while. We were even given extra poppadoms and dips. The food arrived hot and cooked to perfection. It's been a while since we've dined in at Yew Tree Cottage, but we think it's time to go back. Well done to the amazing chef!
Treated myself to a lamb steak, £15.30 I thought that does not sound too bad for the price. They sent me a tough beef steak, overcooked, and few slices of off-putting soggy mushrooms. The lamb bunha was even worst as its supposed to be their speciality. Dry boiled rice.. Very disappointed. I think it was very naughty of them to sell beef as lamb.. Never Never again. Waste of £30 and still hungry.
Ordered tonight as we found the food better than most. When the food arrived the driver complained to my wife about having to travel 4 miles and asked us to use somewhere more local. Does he not get paid?? Absolutely shocking behaviour towards a PAYING customer. Very bad customer service.

Ordered a lamb Tikka biriyani for take away. The lamb was very small pieces no bigger than size of peanuts, rock hard and couldn’t eat it, the fish also was abit spicy, normally it’s a mild dish, This restaurant used to be a great place for great food. Awful food and a pure waste of £14.
Put the phone down. Answered the phone with what do you want ? I asked for a tofu korma, that I had a month ago. The guy said he didn 't know what that was, I asked him to ask the chef as I walked in and ordered one 4 weeks ago. He said no and put the phone down lol.
It is one of the worst curry I ever had...people recamaded.thought give it a try..never again, made me feel sick after second mouthful.... NEVVER AGAIN....
Absolutely Terrible food and everything tasted overcooked, The menu is ridiculously over priced just to receive food that basically looked like roadkill
