-Initial Review- I discovered Yohachi at the start of the pandemic, when dining in restaurants was not an option. My first visit in person exceeded my expectations! Yohachi has become my favorite sushi spot, and I've been to many. They offer a wide selection of dishes, with top-notch quality ingredients. I have never been disappointed by any of their rolls, and some of their creations are truly unique and unforgettable. I picked up a large order from this restaurant in the middle of the day. The quality of the fish was fantastic, very close to authentic Japanese on the staple items. The only things we didn't like were the natto maki as we prefer smaller natto portions, and the negitoro had an overpowering amount of green onion, but that was just our preference, not their fault. Otherwise, the toro and unagi were delicious! Our server was a bit awkward and quiet, which made it a bit hard to order. There were also some unconventional items on the menu that we found to be unauthentic and strange, but the staple items were delicious at least.

Located close to Lonsdale Quay, offeing good variety of yummy sushi rolls and sashimi. The downside was that their classic rolls was not very good but the special ones were great. Our favourite one was Angry Jalapeño roll. Try their Salomon sashimi nachos as well as their sushi pizza. The pizza is a very interesting concept as they use 4 deep fried California rolls as pizza dough with Salomon and tuna as toppings.

Our best meal while visiting Vancouver, we were all so Impressed. Best Sushi, so fresh and delicious. The staff was top notch as well. From Ontario and next time we visit we will be back. We've been on the north shore for a long time and never had checked this place out. We decided to go for dinner. It was good food and nice service. I was expecting a bit more wow as it was highly recommended but I would just say it's good sushi and I would go

Foods are good and yummy. The portion of Rice was quite small and a little bit bigger is better. Service is ok and acceptable, because I have to call for water every time.

With sushi as our favorite food, we did not think it could get any better, but it did! If you are in the area, don’t let it pass you by.
