York Street Taster is truly a delightful experience! This retro-style establishment has limited parking, which is often filled to capacity. While there aren’t any indoor seats, there are picnic tables available outside. Be sure to bring cash, as it's necessary for transactions here. What a fantastic dining spot! We ordered four starters, two subs, and a cheeseburger, and I believe we've discovered our new go-to place for a quick meal. EDIT: On March 19, we returned for breakfast and enjoyed some delicious bacon, egg, and cheese and ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches. The prices for the home-cooked food were excellent—much better than any fast-food chain. I also have to mention their 44-ounce milkshake, which is a fun personal food challenge. I managed to drink it all in one sitting!

I always enjoy visiting this place. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is quite satisfying. The wait time for your order is reasonable, especially given the high volume of customers. It’s a fantastic spot for families to gather. The soft serve ice cream is absolutely the best! The only downside I noticed at York Street Treat is the lack of public restrooms for customers. It seems a bit surprising that such a wonderful place hasn’t invested in adding a few portable toilets.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The ice cream was delicious. For takeout, the food was fantastic, earning a perfect score of 5. The service also deserves a 5, as it was excellent. We have always loved coming here! The raspberry ice cream cone is really good. They have pup cups too! They also make a mean pizza burger if you're looking for something besides a sweet treat. Great for the whole family.

I really love this place—great ice cream! However, I'm giving it 4 stars because the crab shack down the road by the train tracks offers larger portions for a lower price.
