We found Young Bloods a few months ago while visiting the Rose street market!We feel we have hit the jackpot! The atmosphere is fun and friendly, with seating outside in a courtyard away from the street (which is nicer) and also inside, with loads of natural light flooding in from massive Windows which give it the feel of a glasshouse full of lovely plants to soften the atmosphere.The menu is full of variety and all the dishes are tasty, and well proportioned. Showing my sister from the uk around rose street market and stopped at young bloods for a brew. Inevitably we had a look at the menu and although not that hungry the pea and zucchini fritter called to us. We decide to share one serving between the three of us. When it turned up we were glad we did, a fairly sizeable portion that was more than enough to keep is going as a tasty snack until tea time. Gotta say this fritter was deelish and presented beautifully on the plate. I also had a red berry smoothy (also excellent) and coupled with the vibe of the place , i am happy to recommend this eatery. The menu looks pretty tempting so i am sure we will return to savour more of it.

Had lunch here after the Rose Street Market. Young Bloods is basically right next door to the market. Modern interior which opens to a roof top bar. The menu is healthy and fresh with a good variety to choose from. I had a chicken and salad roll and my daughter had the a poached egg which sat on a fresh Faro salad which had heirloom carrots, kale and grilled haloumi with a nice citrus dressing. Both dishes were so tasty, fresh and delicious. The service was friendly. Will definitely return next time we're at the market.

Only 5 tram stops from the city on the 96 (stop 16 fyi) very easy to get to.Service was fab, nothing was too much trouble and the food has that wow factor. We had the pea fritters, tomato salad, zucchini salad and i had the steak sandwich which pleasantly came with hand cut crisps (not the standard hot chips) Juices were a hit too Really exciting menu I look forward to going back to try more. I popped in after having a stroll through the wonderful market that is also here every weekend,for a bit of lunch. I had the baby in a pushchair with me and they couldn't have been more accommodating. I had a delicious toasted veggie frittata sandwich and a hot hot chocolate that wasn't the overly sweet type. Very reasonably priced with friendly service.

Great location in Rose St, central to all that happens in this quirky part of Fitzroy. Service was efficient but a little aloof. Food was scrumptious, particularly the mushroom dish!! Poached eggs were spot on and the bacon crispy. Coffee hit the spot!

Always come here with my friend for brunch/catch ups before visiting the Rose St Market. The food is lovely, but the menu is always changing, which is a shame if you like something and it disappears. Would highly recommend :)

This is a great cafe conveniently located just near the Rose Street market (which is also worth a visit). We had burgers for brunch, delicious beef brisket (not a patty). Also very good coffee. Pretty casual, and good value. Reserva una mesa ahora

Conviently located next to Rose Street Market so popped in for Sunday breakfast and glad we did. Quick friendly service, great atmosphere and venue plus delicious food. Did not disappoint.

Great bar/diner. Nice rooftop bar overlooking the Market and views out to the city. Great food and service.
