Ordinary to bad food. The scallop crudos were delicious the milk buns with chicken were pretty tasty. The Sunday roast pork was very nice too. However, that was where the fun ended. The octopus dish was only partially edible, most of it being too...tough to chew, almost too tough to cut with a knife. Perhaps some lessons from a good Greek restaurant on how to cook it are required. Despite ordering many dishes, the rest of the food was instantly forgettable. To top our disappointing evening off, our waiter knocked over our $120.00 bottle of pinot. Been there a couple of times now. Beware of the automatic door, caught us out the first time as the sign is on the side not on the door so pulled it open and then failed to pull it shut! There is a button to the left which does the trick but if you approach from the left side you don't necessarily notice it. Interesting space downstairs in the cellar, great for a long table lunch - just like a film set, can get a little noisy from creaking floorboards above though.Service is very attentive and food comes in reasonable time, modern menu, certainly couldn't afford to eat there all the time but share plates work well.Beware of mugs of coffee, price quickly adds up.All in all a really nice spot...
A group of six of us went to Little George for dinner on a Saturday night. We had a table (with tall stools) just inside the doorway which was a great spot for people watching, including bride and groom and wedding guests who were in...the basement area but who spent a lot of time traipsing in and out of the restaurant. The restaurant is noisy but the service was impeccable. The young guy waiting on our table was top class. Sharing is the best way to go here. We started with a charcuterie plate plus beef crackling (wow). All very tasty. For the main shared dishes we had their highly regarded half chicken, goat shoulder, octopus and carrots. All very tasty. Not cheap but you get what you pay...
we went on a Saturday night place was very busy. the personal was great; attentive, but not intrusive. Eating was great. it was a jubilee dinner that I hoped for something quiet/atmospheric, but never before I was really not knowing what to expect. place is vibey and I would definitely go back, but maybe not if they were looking for an intimate culinary experience. I can see why the place is popular!

I had lunch today. Food average/good. expect them to eat better tasting for the price. the service was very average. the headkeeper was incredibly rude to us. the other young waitress was embarrassed by her. the rude waitress made a mistake that looked with words instead. to justify their error. it was a unanimous decision to not apply young george again for this incident.
Went with a small group of friends and had a good range of plates all of which were very good. Some curious dishes (eg waffles/strawberries/duck) and so an inter sting original menu.
The place has a great atmosphere. The menu is very modern. The service is flawless (very friendly). The drinks are good and not overpriced. I’ll come back!
Love it in here, so great to have this as a local wine bar, really want to come back and try the $15 pizza and schooner on a Tuesday or the piggy with
