I went here for lunch with all the Asian baby mamas at work, we had originally planned to go to Plum Street but they were shut down to personal issues. It's in Pinelands shopping centre, so decent parking all around.<br/ <br/ We all got cheap lunch boxes! They were a surprisingly massive serve of rice, veggies and protein, barring one girl who got noodles. Linda got the braised pork belly with mustard greens, soy braised egg, a weird tofu square, choi sum and rice. She also got some wintermelon tea as well. The pork belly pieces were super long! We were craving delicious Tea-smoked Duck so we decided to have lunch at this Taiwanese restaurant last Thursday with a group of three. When we arrived, we noticed that they had lunch specials so we changed our order to include Taiwanese dumplings, deep-fried tofu, taro duck, and glass noodle soup with pork and pickled vegetables. This place is a hidden gem that offers authentic Taiwanese cuisine at reasonable prices. The dumplings were juicy, the tofu was silky, the taro duck was crispy, and the sourness of the noodle soup was just right and refreshing. This restaurant definitely deserves a full rating this time. Previous ratings were October 2018 4.5/5 and November 2016 4.5/5.

This restaurant is always busy for a reason. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. They even provide complimentary peanuts for pre-meal snacking, which were impossible to resist. While some of the dishes were a little on the oily side for my taste, it only added to their deliciousness. We found ourselves staring at the neighboring tables and their dishes looked equally appetizing. I can't wait to come back and try their weekend breakfast and other menu options.

The food is authentic Taiwanese and tastes very good. Their pork chop and salty fried chicken are likely the best in town. The service is friendly, quick and responsive. Parking isn't easy during peak hours.
