Yum Yum Miami (drive-thru)

I was disappointed when my favorite ice cream place, Yum Yum Ice Cream, closed and was replaced by Jammin' J in Miami Gardens. I decided to give it a try during their grand opening, but I was underwhelmed. The chicken was tender but lacking in flavor. However, when I heard that Yum Yum Ice Cream was back, now combined with Jammin Jerk, I had to give it another shot. I tried the new J Oxtail dish and ordered a half pound with two sides of corn and rice n peas. The corn was delicious, fresh and flavorful, while the rice was a bit bland and could use more seasoning. I believe this to be a healthy version of Jamaican food not as tasty as I would have liked portions pretty small but very fresh light lunch no gravy on nice and kinda dryThe hard bread as it was called was so good I would came back just for that maybe try the desserts next time in this picture it's supposed to be the jerk chicken which was chicken with a side of jerk sauce which tastes more like barbecue sauce to me super super spicy too much for what u get I had to pay x for the hard bread because I was told that it did not come with any bread but did come with a slice of white bread but turned out okay cuz the hard bread was amazingParking: Likes like a old drive thu for a farm store there...

I was really disappointed with the $16.99 meal I ordered at this restaurant. The portion sizes were very small for the price, and the taste was not great. The chicken was dry and flavorless, the plantains were hard and cold, and the festival was tough and not enjoyable to eat. As a Jamaican, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Jamaican food.

The best j I've had since being in Miami! It's not perfect but it's pretty close! The rice and peas is on point, the spice of the j is on point, they cooking it right there outside, you can sit outside too, nice vibes and it's a drive through ....great! Reserva una mesa ahora

HelloYesterday day was my first time trying this new chicken spot it was ok . I remember It was a ice cream spot located in this location I only traveled this far to get to the ice cream spot called Yum Yum but they seem to have moved or changed names .

Just left here and ordered the white meat, j (chicken only). It came up to $22 for basically two pieces of breast meat cut up. The portion is so small compared to other places, I don’t see how these reviews claim to be so good.

Order the dark meat j chicken it was amazing. Must try it. All this spices. They should also do j pork and beef ! Good seasoning. Also just wish they had plain rice without peas for the kids. Will go again !

I had the j chicken and the j pork. Came back twice since then. I just ate here for the third time. Food is consistent, chicken and pork was tender and full of flavor. I highly recommend this spot. Reserva una mesa ahora

In terms of kid-friendliness, my children loved the atmosphere and the desserts. They were dancing and putting on a show for me and my spouse.

The Chicken was still bleeding, customers service was horrible. Rice was cold and also stank. Plaintains looked like it had dirt on it.
