Yupdduk is my favorite spot in New York for tteokbokki. There's something special about the sauce that sets it apart. I've tried tteokbokki elsewhere, but nothing compares to the tteokbokki at Yupdduk. Lately, I've been loving the rosé tteokbokki because it's creamy and the cheese on top adds a nice touch. It comes with sausages and fish cakes hidden in the sauce, and you can choose between mild and spicy spice levels. I went with mild and it still had a kick to it. The food at this restaurant was quite delicious! I would suggest ordering the mild option if you do not like spicy food. My friends and I particularly enjoyed the pork Katsu, as it helped balance out the spiciness of the rice cakes and kimchi fried rice. Overall, I had a great dining experience and the customer service was excellent. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable, especially with the combo sets available. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was pretty good, but not the best we’ve ever had. Especially if compared to the other restaurants around the area. But for a cold winter day, a hot bowl of oden and spicy rice cake was good. The service was attentive and fast, and overall a great experience. One thing that was bothersome though was the smell of the bathroom. It might be just when we went, but the smell was something else!

Had a good experience the waitress understood 90% of my order only but I’m happy that she understood it later when I was given the unknown order. I loved the food the toppokki was Rose and it was the best, spicy and creamy. I liked the hamburger steak entree and the oden dipped in the topokki sauce. The waitress also was able to pack us to go boxes which was very nice of her. Yupdduk is delicious

This restaurant is a bit expensive. The karaage comes in a set of 5 pieces, with 2 being half sized. On Uber Eats, it costs $7. The potato croquettes are $4 for a set of 2 on Uber Eats. You can customize and add toppings to the tteokbokki, which is often cooked too soft and can split. However, you cannot add extra meat to the curry, even if you're willing to pay more.

The noodles and spam rice with mayo was really good. My spice level is quite low so the tteobokki was really spicy, but overall the food was delicious. The waitress was also really sweet and brought us radish when the tteobokki was too spicy. There was music and the atmosphere was pretty nice.

We ordered Curry Udon with fried shrimps. The shrimps (tempura) were soggy. Curry didn't taste too good and portion is generous. We also ordered Yupgi Katsu Set lunch. The pork cutlet is over cooked so it's not tender and the skin are hard, even a bit burned.

Not the same with Yeopkki-Tteokbokki. We smelled old refrigerator things from the Soondae. Service was not good either. The space was dirty. You’ll waste $70.

I had such a great experience here! The food came out really fast and was super yummy. Great place to eat with friends!
