Bizarre waitress Reena/reeka? How you treat people will come back to you. You are not the only person who works hard in life. I know we have bad days, but to lie about closing after you brought our drinks to us, and to be condescending on the food choices we made was just plain odd. This waitress (Reena/Reeka was what we were told her name was) lied about closing time after she seats us Friday at 8:30pm but she told us AFTER we go our drinks “to hurry as they were closing”, (they actually closed at 10pm Friday, but we didn’t know assumed we were late), and she also pushed a plate of food at me to finish so she could grab it, and criticized one of our sushi rolls for being a boring choice. It is very unfortunate that I have to give this place only two stars, because the food was phenomenal. The big problem was the service: We ordered two yellowtail dishes the yellowtail yuzu jalapeño, and the yellowtail belly sashimi. We got the first one quickly and had finished it once the second had arrived. We were about to start eating, when the waitress comes over and snatches the plate from the table, aggressively accusing us of already eating the yellowtail and saying that we didn't order this second portion. Honestly, the food here is really fresh and delicious. The space is also very clean and aesthetic. My boyfriend and I had been planning to eat here for a while. I’m giving it two stars because my boyfriend and I waited an hour and a half for our food, which wasn’t a problem until we watched at least 5 tables turn around us because they got their food in a timely manner, ate and left. I don’t wanna blame it on the color of my skin, but I’d be lying if I said that we weren’t the darkest people in there. We remained polite, asked for our check and boxed and tipped, but the waitress was pretty passive aggressive and asked us if were in some kind of rush. Oh well. We won’t be back! Food is great...

First time trying and Yuzu sushi is a solid spot with many rolls. I started off with the tuna crisp which was pretty decent. I was expecting bigger chunks of tuna but it’s actually very fine pieces with tempura mixed in. Then I had the scallop, yellowtail, and spider roll. I liked the yellowtail maki roll the most and it tasted fresh and fatty. However the scallop roll was just okay. I noticed they use the smaller scallop variety which is probably why. Yuzu is bar none the best sushi restaurant in the Chamblee/Brookhaven area. As of today, we've been here 3 or 4 times and every time the food and service are perfect 10s. All of the specialty rolls are wonderful, but the sushi special platters are a show stealer. I highly recommend the Chirashi special. Bonus points because the staff fawns over my baby, he loves coming here and stuffing his face full of their delicious sushi rice while he plays with the nice ladies who work here.

I was at a food-less venue in the area, but they allowed us to order in, so I ordered from this restaurant in the Uber Eats app. Simply, I ordered seaweed salad and a Hot Night roll. Texture and flavor were on point, and both dishes were fresh. If I’m in the area again, I would stop into the restaurant for the full experience. Food: 5
