Well, I'm not a restaurant critic of any kind, but I thought I would do a review of this establishment in English, as L'Isle is a place you need to know in advance, instead of just stumble and if you are not a local, you may not know about Mr Yves Hohl and his beautiful desserts! If you climb from Lausanne or Morges in the Jurassic, it would serve you well to use a route that will take you to L 'Isle, one of many small villages dotted around the Waadt landscape. I had lunch there and was greeted by Mr. Hohl himself, who had to be the most loving and sympathetic host I was allowed to meet in Europe last year. His staff are also very friendly and attentive and for a village that could be seen...
You have to reserve months in advance to get a table for Sunday brunch in this pastry with a tea room. It is a very original brunch, as most of the foods are miniature delicacies – small open sandwiches, shrimp cocktails in small cups or exotic blends in glass tubes – offer a variety of taste. There is also a second table with miniature desserts. The result is that you get away with a satisfied palate, but not a flowering stomach. This place is worth a visit.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe d'Yves Hohl qui a préparé tout le banquet apéritif (sucré + salé) pour notre mariage. La cérémonie s'est déroulée au Château de la Sarraz et c'était vraiment splendide et délicieux
Lieu réputé loin à la ronde pour ses brunchs dominicaux. Une fois le petit moment de flottement du changement de service passé. Endroit sympa et belle qualité des buffets. Personnel accueillant.

We ate in this very pleasant restaurant today. The food was of excellent quality and very nicely displaced. Service was also pleasant, certainly a place to go back.
