We had been walking in the area and on arrival in Sumiswald had noticed the Kreuz was open so called by for a beer after the walk. At the table I noticed they had an excellent list of desserts mostly based about ice cream. I chose one that had fruit, ice cream and cream- it was excellent. A beer and ice cream, a great way to end a walk. The staff were very friendly and efficient plus the place welcomes dogs. I would recommend walking in the area of this town and certainly include a visit to the Kreuz afterwards.
i was with family the other day for lunch there whe had all the schnitzel with fries later desert the schnitzel was very good but had better ones the restaurant is also nice and very tradicional but the waiters specially one man was very rude and unprofesional whe where saying what whe want and in the middle of the order he left he made that 2 times at main order soups snitzels drinks later again at desert was nasty .
This restaurants offers traditional Swiss food. Generous portions, with the menu in German only. The local area is rural, and we enjoyed our experience eating here. We were staying in the local village. The meals do not come fast, and the wait staff seems to vary during one sitting. One waitress spoke some English. I would recommend this restaurant as there are not many nearby with similar level of food quality.
romantic evening dinner at the high-time amazement ambiente, top service and a culinary delight. from the appetizer to dessert a full pleasure, representative orientation of the food, price/ performance is absolutely true. it is offered to you much more than it costs effectively. thanks for this wonderful evening, we are very happy to come back and look forward to the next time. very nice reception, excellent wild dishes the reh carving was butter delicate and the wild supplements of high quality.,and very finely prepared as well as the rehpfeffer simply delicious.The recommended wein (in the open canal)is as well as flowing through the kehle.The service is attentively friendly and competent.In this hoist the gasthof will celebrate again.
we decided spontaneously to eat in the rest. cross to lunch. that was a decision we didn't regret. the menu was excellent and my man even received a large portion of egg spongeli instead of tofu to the rice.The service was exceptionally attentive and friendly. our dog even got a bowl of water without asking for it. Definitely recommended!
