I'm not quite sure why I write an English-language review of a restaurant in a rural and most certainly non-touristy area of Switzerland where even I, a native Swiss living not too far away, am probably perceived as a slightly exotic stranger. Well, it is a very nice, traditional village inn with good Swiss food. The innkeepers are very friendly. The overall atmosphere is familial and rustic in a good way. Only cash payment!

We ate in this nice restaurant for lunch on our trip to Bern. Very friendly staff. The food was very good. We had a mixed salat for starter and for the main pork with a mushroom sauce and Spätzli. Everything was fresh coocked and the quality of the food was very good.
