Zaaika - Restaurante hindu

Pros: food tastes good. Cons: Everything else, here’s to list a few -Out of about or times I have been here, they have messed up my order of those times. I always order vegetarian items however always end up getting something with chicken in it. Be careful if you’re vegetarian horrible service; I don’t blame the workers though. It seems like the owner doesn’t treat the workers well. One time I was there..one of the workers passed out in middle of the restaurant. They had to call an ambulance and he had to go out on a stretcher. When I asked another server what happened, he responded: overwork, stress -They take forever to make your food. Today it was me, and another table in the restaurant. It took about minutes to get my food. They didn’t even get the order right. At this point, I just got up and left very unhygienic; I found an insect in my food Food here is authentic but I won’t be giving them anymore business because of above reasons Edit: to address owners comments. I didn’t tell the waiter I was running late and I was leaving. Food was incorrectly made and I left because I waited for minutes and got the wrong food. I didn’t want to wait another minutes to finally receive what I ordered. This has happened multiple times however today I couldn’t wait because I had to get back to work. About owner not “charging me” for food. Why would I pay for something I didn’t consume I didn’t get upset at the workers because I knew they were under bad management. I encourage everyone to talk to the servers about being paid/treated fairly at this place. Zaaika charges American prices for its food however doesn’t pay or treat its employees fairly I did report an insect in my food last time I was here..the server apologized, took the food, and made new food. You would think owner would come out to address an issue like this.

Wow! I was so surprised how good this food was. I’ve traveled all around is the is probably the best Indian I’ve ever had. I always order from them, but will one day try in stop in with a few friends before I leave Medellin.

First night in Medellin and the best curry I've had in a reaaaaallly long time. Full of flavour and totally delicious, also great service. I need to go back before I leave the city.

Very pricey for the poor quality. The food was below average and with very poor ambience restaurant but they charged me high-end restaurant rates! I do not recommend it to anyone.

I’ll settle this for people deciding to come here Being a person of Indian origin, This is the best food I’ve had in North America! Very authentic
