Makes me sad to say this: 1) they did not wear gloves today BUT we saw them wear handle 2days prior watched probably the owner put a wrap inside the paper with his hands after hearing it up. This was not my order. Right after that used the same hands to put utensils in the plastic bag. Then he refilled the utensil holder with the same hands with more plastic utensils. The utensils were too much and it spilled on the counter and he picked it up and placed it right back into the utensil holder. His partner also handled the cash registration after preparing some falafels. I wish I didn't get to see this but apparently this was the day the did not want to use plastic gloves. several donairs ordered in different flavors. When I arrived, I was told that they had no bark or lamb, but still made the chicken. I say everything well, make them all huh, the crew is hungry. nothing tasted very good, not a single order was correct re: toppings, also beyond the chicken thing. a kerl has ordered a donair and got a platter. the lens soup was unusable.

I find it very difficult saying 'no ' to a good shawarma... I recently found this tiny place called Zaaki in New West at 6th and 6th and gotta admit that it 's becoming a personal fav. I 've tried their chicken shawarma and mixed platter and the prices are good value. Meats were tender and I appreciate the tabbouleh and other greens. The place is cash or debit only.

Delicious food and courteous service. It can get busy especially during the evenings. Had to wait more than 20 minutes for my order but the person manning the point of sale threw in extra free drinks with my order. And that is how you get repeat customers! Will be definitely going back to this place.

best, best, best falafel ever. Lense soup is amazing and also vegan. they make their own hummus, sauces, etc. great cerle, good eating and service. I'm just angry that they don't give me their secret recipes lol, no suppe for them!

First time trying out the food from Zaaki. Ordered chicken shawarma platter (reg) and Kunafeh for take out. Service was prompt and the place is busy. Food was delicious and tasty, the dessert is a must try! Definitely going back.

I'm going to the falafel plated with tabouleh. they make the falafels fresh to order and they are delicious! prepare for their eating a little to wait as they are very busy and there is often a line.

Awesome food! Big portions! Great price! Super friendly service! First time here, will definitely come back. Had the chicken shawarma. Will come back for the falafel plate next time.

One the best shawarma I've had ever IMO. Reasonable price for large portion. Great taste!!
