I was disappointed with my experience at the restaurant today. This was my third visit in several years and I do not plan on returning. We were seated quickly, but it took a long time for our order to be taken and even longer for our drinks to arrive. Our food came out first and we were both very thirsty as we had to remind our server that we had also asked for water with our cocktails. I ordered the beef Massaman, which was tasty but the portions were small for the price of £13.50 and the rice was hard in some places, indicating it may have been left out or reheated. Throughout our meal, we were not asked if everything was okay. The gluten-free options were limited, with only edamame beans...

We went on a Saturday lunch time. Everything tasted amazing (what we ordered below) and the service was really quick, granted it wasn’t the busiest when we went but still the starters came out maybe 2-3mins after ordering! Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere, I like the street brought inside vibe! We ordered (numbers from the menu): Starters: 1. Chicken satay, 10. pork skewers, 17. chicken toast. Mains: 34. Khow Moo Krob Jar Ban (crispy pork belly with rice and green sauce), Gai Tod Thad Yai (crispy chicken with garlic and crispy onion and sticky rice and 2 sauces), no number as from summer specials menu.

We called on a Sunday evening and it was almost full. Relaxed vibe, but with the perspex screens it did remind me of eating in the factory canteen during Covid. Very good starters of pork skewers and deep fried prawns. Mains pad thai had plenty of chicken but lacked flavour. Belly pork with cabbage was fine but not very spicy. Portions of rice and noodles too large for us. Total bill (with 1 drink each and prawn crackers) including 10% optional tip automatically added was £61. I’m not usually keen about automatic tips, but at least they made it very clear that it had been added.

Great food, fun place. Having to travelled to Thailand many, many times it's great to have a typical Thai street food place, it has the ambiance of typical Thai street food, simple dishes as it is street food and not a full blown Thai restaurant, the pad Thai noodles are excellent, service is quick (as a street food place should be) can be difficult to get in as always bust, very popular place, love the simple seating and the clattering of everyone enjoying the food.
