We always stop in after canoeing on the reservoir for pizza. Today we ordered a large mushroom and sausage pizza. Upon inspection of the pizza the sausage was distributed generously on top with mushrooms layered below. To us, the mushrooms appeared oddly, as if they were not cooked. And, after the first bite we could tell that the mushrooms had not been cooked. In fact, everything else on the pizza was piping hot except for the mushrooms. The crust, the cheese and the sausage (layered on top the mushrooms) were oven temperature hot, while the mushrooms (layered on top of the cheese) was lukewarm. This was not a pleasant meal. We decided against pointing out the obvious. It appeared a mistake...

I was staying nearby on business and wanted something simple. The Mexican pizza sounded good, so I ordered a small. It is so good, I haven't even finished eating before I decided to write a review. Light, fresh, full of flavor! I am not disappointed. If I am ever back in the neighborhood, I'll gladly get this again! We are on a bus trip from Iowa. Tried to get into the Irish pub but would have taken too long as we are on a time schedule and the pub was packed. Walked to Zachary's, ordered pizza to go, they were quickly prepared and quite truthfully, some of the BEST pizza we have ever had!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Awesome place! Called and ordered from our hotel tonight, 25 min before closing and then picked it up. We got a cheese sausage calzone, which was very cheesy with very good sausage delicious! We also got the large Pepperoniest pizza, that was incredible, covered with tons of crispy, spicy pepperoni and a firm bread crust! Yummy! We are just driving through, but will possibly order again tomorrow night!
Walked in and immediately had a seat. The staff is slim so you can expect some wait but the gentleman running the register and assisting tables was beyond helpful. I had a nice porter, asked what pizza he recommended and got a small Philly cheese. It was delightful. Under $30 after tip. Definitely a nice stop if you're passing through.

At first I was hesitant to pay $20 for a pepperoni pizza, but then I thought it was worth it the high cost may be due to the universal health insurance Bernie Sanders in state. And I am so glad we ordered from Zachary?s because the pizza was absolutely delicious.
