Overall, we were pleased with our dining experience, especially considering we hadn't made a reservation and arrived at 9 PM on a Saturday. The total for two people was £120, which we felt was a bit pricey, although others might not see it that way. We were somewhat disappointed with the octopus starter; it was supposed to be grilled, but ours was burnt. We didn't bring it up, as we were happy with the rest of our meal. The chicken and rocket salad was excellent, and the prawns were truly delicious. We also enjoyed some Vinho Verde.
I typically dislike cauliflower, but the cauliflower dish that accompanied what is likely the best porchetta I've ever had was absolutely delicious. The food and service here exceeded all expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The special touch they added to my wife's dessert when they learned it was her birthday was the cherry on top (lemon meringue in this instance). Unfortunately, I can't upload a photo, so I apologize for that.
Dined here twice during our stay and it was absolutely excellent. The staff were all friendly and attentive and menu options were varied everything we had from starters to desserts were delicious: monkfish katsu curry and pork chops stood out. Would also be great if they added seedlip or something like martini vibrante to the drinks list to make some less sugary non alcoholic alternatives.
I had a complete and enjoyable dining experience, as you can see in the photos. The food was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. You definitely won't regret choosing this place for a genuine culinary experience in the evening. I'm looking forward to returning to try more dishes from the menu next time!

we had a great dinner here as part of a recent stay in the water-gatter booked. Honestly thought eating was breathtaking.
Incredible good, incredible service, lovely ambience and a great location. Plus not overpriced for what it is.
