Zaffran - Reservar una mesa

We had seen this restaurant on TA and fancying something other than Austrian food we called in. It is just off the Hauptplatz so very central. All the outside tables were taken so the owner sat us down opened the window and brought a fan. He helped us order off the menu. My Dhall Makhani, Chicken tikka masala, and two portions of Lamb Saag, rice x 3, garlic Naan to die for x 1!! My Dhall was excellent and came in a little bucket which kept it very hot. We had a glass of bubbly to toast the arrival of our latest grandchild and a round of drinks. The bill came to 95 euros. The food was excellent. Ignore the review that said the food was old and not special. One of the best curries we have eaten. They also kindly ordered us a taxi.

After a long road trip from Zee Lam See we sat to eat dinner on our way to Vienna. The food was excellent and the waiter was too friendly but the owner was a bit angry and he even told us that the kitchen is closing but we had already ordered the food. While we were enjoying our food there was a table with the friends of the owner and they were looking at us with strange looks which made us eat quickly and go out, but overall the food was excellent.

This restaurant serves authentic Indian food. The menu is limited and it is better to go for set menu during lunch on weekdays. The food portion size is reasonable and so is the service. The food is a bit heavy and greasy and can be a tad too heavy on the stomach. But definitely good indian food should not be missed at Zaffran. Worth a visit.!Owner of the restaurant Gaurav makes you comfortable and can set the taste as per your need.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Zu unserem 5jährigen Sohn waren alle total nett und haben ihm sofort ein Getränk gebracht, weil er so durstig war. Sehr schneller und freundlicher Service. Genügend vegetarische Gerichte, Qualität und Geschmack sehr gut. Immer wieder gerne.

Cercavo un ristorante con opzioni vegane a Linz e questa è stata una buona possibilita. Solo tre piatti tra cui scegliere ma il mio era buono e abbondante. Bene anche il prezzo!
