Had heard a lot of good about the store, so I was really excited about the back to the 80's party. Somehow only people came out, but nobody went in. Hm, and everyone was older than me. Well, let's wait. After 6 € entrance were leafed and a first cool Krefelder was waiting for us, the big surprise came: The dance floor! You're so eighties! The zakk is a club in the heart of Flingern. I have visited the zakk to various parties (80s, rock party and Halloween party) and concerts. Two things I love here: smoking ban (to smoke you have to go to the beer garden or into a smoker room next to the cafe) and the wonderfully unchice audience, because no matter whether 80s fete or zakk on the rocks (Rock over Alternative to Metal): here is no matter how old you are or how you run around: fun can everyone have here! The audience at the rock party really extends from 18 to 40. The average age for the 80s is slightly higher. Toilets are clean, entrance 6 euros and drinks prices are also completely normal for a discotheque.
I was here to a reading and a concert, so to two very different events. The mood was nevertheless good and the location is very charming and has its own style. You sit here very cozy when events (also gives many political style) are and there is always a selection of drinks at good prices. Luckily, there is no commercial mainstream here, but it is not that only very special interest groups come here. There are always good offers at human prices and you can talk to many people. If you can get a little culture and want to have entertainment, please come back.

I can talk about several concerts here and have to say that I was impressed by the relaxed mood. The staff is super friendly and always accommodating. The spectators have always had a great deal of fun and the arrival and return journey with public transport can work smoothly. When I was younger, I went to ZAKK events every day. But at some point they started to leave small children under 18. I felt totally old and as if I had gone wrong on a birthday. What I found the worst was that the little kids also got high-percent drinks and felt totally adult. I haven't been there since then and I wouldn't go back there. Not voluntary. It also runs stupid for ZAKK and I can only say 'No wonder'. Love
