Zankou Chicken - Reserva de mesa

Good simple food. Slow service though so plan accordingly. I usually just order online and give it an extra 20 minutes because they are rarely on time. You can order there and get your food faster than online orders because they seem to prioritize people waiting. They do tend to work on orders where customers complain but I don’t like complaining so I’d rather order and give them extra time. The pitas aren’t homemade and they’re cold but for the price of the family meal, can’t complain. Their chicken comes with a crispy skin if it’s just off the rotisserie. I’m not a fan of the garlic sauce but everyone around me loves it so I just have bad taste when it comes to garlic sauce.

Shout out to the amazing team at Zankou Chicken in Tarzana, located at 19598 Ventura Blvd! They serve the best chicken that soothes those hungry nerves and their staff is exceptionally courteous. When you place a phone order, they take the time to explain the menu so you know exactly what you're getting and can fully enjoy it. And let's not forget about their famous GARLIC PASTE that is to die for! Thank you for always taking care of our hunger cravings. You're the best! Zankou Chicken, is really Deliciousness

I ordered a combo kabob plate for $21.59 (not including tax, delivery fee, etc) through doordash. I spent a total of $34 and my plate only included 3 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of shish. I am incredibly disappointed, how is 6 pieces of meat equivalent to 2 skewers? I've eaten here before and most skewers come with 5 pieces of meat/per skewer. Think twice before ordering here it’s not worth the money.

The new reality, $18 for a combo kabob plate. The shish meat was thicker and didnt marinate as well in this store. It could have just been a the batch. Regardless, still one of our favorites Reserva una mesa ahora

Service was horrible no communication took one took longer with the chicken chicken but never let me know that my order is behind stayed there 20,25 minutes until I got my dinner.

Everyone is very nice in this location. Guerardo, Elbia, Jesus and the other ones don't know their name ...i come to this location because of their kindness and professionalism

It would be better if they included at least one free pita bread with a side order of falafel, instead of charging extra for everything.

Lady didn't know what was going on. Mixing up multiple orders, while cooks are standing doing nothing. It took forever. Won't be back Reserva una mesa ahora
