I'm a big fan of Persian food since they have an abundance of grilled meat dishes with rice. The location in Kirkland is great. Parking is available in the back or across the street. We went on a Sunday for lunch and the place was nearly full, a good sign. An empty restaurant means it's not good. We were seated and attentively greeted by our server. I ordered the shishlik and my girlfriend ordered the soltani. Here's where there was an issue. Normally you receive lavash or some other bread along with basil. We received neither. When we asked we were told it is available at extra cost. All the other Persian restaurants in the area provide this, so it is strange for them not to provide this on...
i was not wowed or very impressed by the quality or timing nor the price fesenjan only 3 2oz pieces of chicken and not enough pomegranate molasses crushed walnuts. Nor enough lima beans in baghali polo which is rice with dill and lima beans i only found one lima beans. i paid with tax and tip about 40 bucks. i was expecting total 20 the fesernjaan was 22 bucks changing the white rice that the dish comes to baghall polo they charged me 5 extra dollars l. have had fesenjan made by my best friend who is from Iran one bite and it was like wow dish so i was not wowed or impressed for a 4.5 star rating so far. pics attachedit was my first time as a n excellent cook myself with over 500 videos many...
The quality of the food is ok and the attitude of the staff is very rude and disrespectful. When we voiced our concern, the waiter said there are other restaurants in the area and literally left while we were still talking to him. We asked to talk to the management, the manager (male) came and talked in a very disrespectful manner. No apologies for giving us wrong information, and instead making us the customer feel like we owe him something. This attitude doesn 't deserve our business. The chef and the kitchen staff do a great job but the front staff and the manager ruin all their efforts.
the stews who came with the deaf were great. I still liked the green. the rice personally I am not a fan or crispy rice because it is too hard. the cornish chicken bowl was amazing! the chicken cabob had a fleshy taste, so if they are not a fan of it like me, then avoid. we also ordered a sirlion spicy beef cabob, which was also quite good. we came for a late lunch and although eating came fast enough, the check-and-payment process too long, although we were the only ones there. We ordered three different kababs without rice, along with a salad, but we had to sort through the entire salad. It seemed like the salad had been prepared several days ago—it was limp and unappetizing. However, the kababs tasted good. If you plan to order without rice, make sure to request that the salad either not be included or be served separately from the kababs. Also, it took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, including the salad we received for the three kababs.
Everything was tasty and pretty authentic.They start with a complimentary garden salad which was nice.We ordered a salad shiraz, a mast musir, kabab barg, and a shishlik kabab. I would recommend all of them but the salad shirazi.You can also ask for extra herbs and onions.There are window seats with lake view available too.All in all would recommend this place.
