I absolutely adore Zen! My family and I frequent this restaurant at least twice a month, and the food never disappoints. I appreciate the consistency in the quality of the dishes. The service is exceptional as well, with attentive servers always ready to assist us. My go-to orders are either the Tonkatsu Zen pork ramen or the bulgogi poke bowl, along with a side of fried gyoza. Everything I've tried there has been fantastic! Don't miss out on the delicious green wasabi sauce to accompany the ramen. Zen is definitely one of my top three favorite restaurants in Cartersville.
The service at this restaurant was a bit lacking, as our waiter only checked on us once during our meal. I ordered a sushi burrito that I didn't enjoy and asked if it could be exchanged, but the manager refused and insisted I still had to pay for it, even though I barely touched it. Our waiter did try to discuss the situation with the manager, but we were only offered a 50% discount in the end. Additionally, there were no changing tables in the bathrooms, making it difficult for me to change my 6-month-old baby.
First visit to Zen, won’t be the last. Until today, I didn’t know a sushi burrito existed. I tried the Pop Rock Sushi Burrito gotta say I really loved this! Great taste, especially with the spicy mayo. Freshly made, the ‘outside crunch’ was nice. My wife got the Tonkotsu Spicy Shrimp Ramen, it was great as well. Can’t wait to return and try some other items!Restaurant was clean, great music playing (Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, etc), server was very helpful and answered our questions.
As much as we love the food, the service is awful!! They never have enough servers and this weekend was it for us. We never even got our drinks after 10 min of waiting and no-one came by our table at all. The last time we came in it took 45 minutes to get our food and I thought we would give them one more shot. It's a shame that they have no help but we will never go back after the last 2 experiences.

Stumbled upon this restaurant from google maps, I usually don’t get my expectations high when trying a new place.Had questions about food preparation, Evan, our server, knew the menu very well answered all our questions and even made recommendations. Food was super fresh and very delicious. We will return!
My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to Cartersville in 2021. We have never once had a problem with service or the food. It is one of our favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is pretty great too. They play some amazing music.
Nice place and service. Expensive for what you get. Unfortunately the ramen is below average when compared to truly authentic ramen restaurants. The broth lacks flavor (Tonkotsu tastes like bland chicken noodle soup broth). Disappointed.
If you're in the mood for a delicious, generous bowl of soup, this is the spot to visit. However, the prices are quite high. As a result, we don't dine here frequently. The service is consistently friendly.

Gabriel, our server was great! Spicy Shrimp Tonkatsu Ramen and Sushi Burrito (it’s a huge sushi roll) were both delicious! This was our first time here, and we will definitely be back!
Very good food and excellent service as well. I'll definitely be back. The person who took my to-go order was very friendly and welcoming.
