I visited Zia Lucia Aldgate East in September 2025 specifically looking for a vegan special I’d heard about, but unfortunately, I couldn't find it on the menu at the time. However, it was incredibly easy to customize a plant-based meal! I ordered the Arrabbiata Vegetariana on their famous charcoal dough, simply asking for it without mozzarella. It was absolutely delicious, the dough is a must-try. My only recommendation would be for them to keep a dedicated vegan special on the permanent menu to make it easier for plant-based diners. That said, the staff makes it very easy to customize, so don't let the menu stop you!
Outstanding, authentic Italian pizza. Our server, Ivan, was very friendly and attentive. Made great recommendations. We ordered a margarita with regular crust and one with blackened crust. Both were delicious I especially liked blackened because of how crispy and crackery it was. Good selection of drinks, and we ordered a tiramisu for dessert which honestly was one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!
I ordered a pizza 20 mins ago from the app Zia Lucia set up at Castle Pub in Whitechapel. It was the worst pizza I've ever had. The pizza arrived ice cold, salty, burnt, with hardly any cheese—terrible. Not a smart move for a business trying to promote itself through another business. No one at the pup liked my pizza. Would anyone who tried it order it again?
I went for dinner with my parents yesterday and had a great experience. Both the pizzas and the starters were excellent. I especially recommend the vegetable dough — really tasty and different. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend this place.

my work has ordered from Zia Lucia a few times. the mozzarella is absolutely DISGUISTING in this pizza just some nasty white goo. i can't comprehend how this place has such good rating
