Great location in the historic Rocks area of Sydney, the restaurant is small and cosy. It is directly across the road from the Overseas Passenger Terminal so there are many tourists. The atmosphere is good and the service was personable. I ordered a small buffalo cheese pizza and added anchovies as an additional topping for which I paid $4 extra. The pizza was disappointing with more areas just sauce than cheese and the $4 anchovies literally consisted of one third piece of anchovy per piece. If there was even $2 worth of toppings on it I would be surprised. Lucky I didn't order any drinks. On leaving I went to pay the $24 bill and they added another $1 to it....no explanation. Whilst it does...

I have eaten here over a 10 year period a few times, always the food was nice especially the gnocchi gorgonzola, which i had again and it was great. i noticed however the prices had gone from $18 to $25 for a pasta. I know it is The Rocks but thought this a big rise. The service is always mediocre and nothing has changed there. They obviously feel they do not need to give good service because of their location. Not sure jf i would go back again.

A small restaurant in the rocks which also has space in the upper floor. Run by an Italian. We had pizza and it was good. But if you have ever been to - or close to - Italy don't expect similar taste, dough and others. The regular pizza (around 8") is for A$20, the LARGE (12") costs A$30!. Additional toppings per A$4/5.Finally: if you expect some italian background music there you're wrong: it was kinda modern english radio/cdMay visit again

We always try to make it to Zia Pina whenever we are in Sydney. It brings back good memories of previous visits. We skip the pizzas (too large for 2) and had the crab linguine and seafood soup. Both were exceptional and we were very pleased. It was lunch time on a weekday and the restaurent wasn't very crowded; the service was excellent.
